Alex and Kate are fraternal twins who have fought over toys, classes, friends and whatever they can find to argue about. They are as different as they could possible be, but both love their family. After separation during college, they are reunited when Alex returns to their home town to teach and Kate accepts a residency at a nearby town. When Alex becomes ill and needs a bone marrow transplant, Kate is reluctant to be drawn back into their tug of war until she is the only family member to match her sister. She can’t forgive her sister for her years of bad behavior, but finds that her love for her family is stronger than her hurts. Alex too must learn from their difficult relationship when Kate needs her as well. Both girls must learn that God is still in the business of healing broken hearts when they are willing to repent and change their behaviors.
